Dominique Hort, born in 1965.

He became a chiropractor graduating from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in December 1989 (now called Southern California University of Health Sciences), and worked 3 years as an assistant to Dr. Michel Barras in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Interested more in the holistic aspects of health and wellness, he specialized in different techniques, and has completed well over 1500 hours of advanced studies in:

      George Goodheart, Wally Schmitt, Jean Pierre Meersseman, David Leaf

• Energetic Bionomics with Carlo Cortella, Ph.D. 

He further himself in the field of nutrition, detoxification, functional medicine and natural hygiene following Bernard Jensen, DC (Iridology and natural food applications), Jeffrey Bland, Ph.D., acquiring the title of Certified Clinical Nutritionist from the International and American Association of Clinical Nutritionists (IAACN – Texas USA) in 1998 and getting his degree in Naturopathy for the Dynamis School of Naturopathy (Chiasso, CH) in 2002. In 1994, he created a detoxification program that thousands of people have used since.

In 2014 he began in-depth study of the field of Energetic Building Biology (EBB) and Energetic Bionomics (EB).

In his personal search for understanding subtle energy applications, he studied Reiki, Rebirthing and Mental Dynamic. He then decided to devote his professional life to the study and application of methods to better people’s quality of life and wellness by studying more than 2000 hrs of Network Spinal Analysis (NSA) and Somato Respiratory Integration exercises (SRI) with Donald Epstien. Dominique also completed more than a year of private sessions of psycho synthesis (Assaggioli) and Mastery University with Anthony Robbins.

He synthesized all these techniques and others like: energetic bionomics, energetic building biology, exercise, coaching, personal motivation, and functional neurology into the Hort Method™.

He opened his private family practice in Lugano (CH) in 1993 with special attention to the care of children (learning disabilities, attention deficit disorders, colics, allergies, and other childhood conditions) and professional athletes. From 1993 to 2006, he was the staff chiropractor for H.C. Lugano, and in 1998 worked for the medical staff of A.C. Milan. He has cared for professional cyclists like Mauro Gianetti, Gianni Bugno, Laurent Blanc, and Ivan Gotti as world class swimmers like Flavia Rigamonti. He has also provides high performance care high profile clients and celebrities, including having served as a personal body worker Anthony Robbins. He now concentrates his practice in the achievement of human potential, stress management, quality of life and wellness. His practice has served over 19’000 patients since it opened. 

He is the creator of the Hort Method™, a holistic approach to life merging many different chiropractic and non-chiropractic techniques. In this novel approach, the patient is facilitated in an educational and healing program addressing all aspects of life (nutrition, detoxification, spine, daily habits, physical activity, general health, emotional and mental fitness, functional medicine, coaching and geo-biological function).

In 2020 he created the basic seminar “The Hort Method™: the Multi Layer Patient”. This is the beginning of a series of modules to teach and sharing his approach to health and healing to practitioners and students of chiropractic. 

He has extensively lectured for 25+ years on the subjects of nutrition, detoxification, wellness, chiropractic, energetic bionomics, Network Spinal Analysis and personal growth to professionals (ASC institute and CE courses, ECU convention (2004, 2008, 2013, 2014), chiropractic colleges (IFEC 2008 and 2013, AECC 2009, WIOC Glamorgan 2009, Life West in California 1999, Universities (University of Naples – Italy), University of Chiropractic Escorial Maria Cristina (Spain), and others, as well as the many lay and community organizations.

Writer on the subject of health, his articles have been published in professional and lay newspapers, journals and magazine. He published his first book on the subject of relationship and healing "Come te non c'è nessuno" published by Macro Edizioni. In 2015, he published his first book in English with his wife and two best selling authors “Unite - Transform your Relationship with Life”. In 2020, he published “Tuo per sempre, Tua per sempre. Credere in Te in quanto Anima”, Splendidamente ed, on the subject of spirituality and soul connection. 

He works in the teaching staff of the institute of the Swiss Chiropractic Association for nutrition and sport chiropractic, and was on the teaching staff of the Association for Network Care (instructor for the Basic Care Intensive seminars and the Hands-on workshops in Europe) for 15 years. He lectures in several countries in Europe, USA and Australia. In his lecturer career, he has taught to over 30’000 people world wide.

He is the founder of “X-CELS”, a coaching support system for chiropractors practicing Network Spinal Analysis teaching the leadership, marketing, communication and management of the business of having a chiropractic office, where he participated as program developer, teacher and coach. He coached over 250 practices in 3 continents, in 8 years.

With Carlo Cortella, Ph.D., he developed SOLS: a worldwide company interested in the effect and optimization of electromagnetic and subtle energy fields; with a mission to teach, research, and serve practitioners and lay people in the field of energetic building biology, energetic bionomics and air and water science and treatment. He is presently a member of the ASC, ECU, ICAK-USA, ICAK-Swiss Chapter, IAACN (International and American College of Clinical Nutritionists), Swiss Chiropractic Sports council, Swiss Chiropractic Pediatric Association and was listed in the “Who’s Who of Professionals” in 1999-2000.

Personally and professionally, Dominique is interested in charity and contribution. He served in “the mission of light 2000” in the communities of Mother Theresa in Calcutta and in a rehabilitation program for children affected by severe post traumatic stress syndrome. For 12 years, he actively participated in raising funds for the drug communities “Mondo X” of Padre Eligio (Italy). Fund raiser for the CHABA, AMTIBU, IL TAVOLINO MAGICO, cuorEmani association, and several other charity institutions and organizations, cuorEmani association.
